What is your excuse for not innovating? There are many and come in all colors, but the most common excuses for not innovating are the following:

I have no time

“I am very busy at the company; I don’t have time to innovate. In fact, being so busy is evidence that there is high demand from customers. ” It’s probably one of the worst excuses and that’s why it ranks first.

This kind of think only implies that improve is not a factor that matters at all for the company. In fact, taking the time to implement changes is a top priority. Although ideas take time to set and execute until they produce results, the time invested in it is worth it. Only when you are convinced of something, will there be plenty of time to think and innovate.

I will lose my investment

Time is the first excuse, but once we overcome the first obstacle, people think of capital. An even bigger obstacle: The fear of losing money. In business there is always a margin of error. But from the first moment we bet on a business and now we must move on and make it grow.

The risk is latent when it is invested without knowing in concrete the idea. But we will be smarter. Before investing the capital, we will first have spent time reducing the margin of error as much as possible. Thorough planning will be done, jointly discussed and the way forward mapped out.

It will not work

It is the most pessimistic excuse of all. It is a thought that usually comes to our minds when there is already a specific idea, but there is a fear that it is a failure. The largest companies have had major failures, but that has not meant dissolution of the company or bankruptcy.

If there is no history of success in your proposal, then if you make it work, it will impact the market on a larger scale. And if it does not work, then it will be left to try again with better planning.
